  • Hartree Centre, providing world-class high performance computing capabilities and home to Blue Joule, the UK’s number one supercomputer dedicated to working with industry (location: Sci-Tech Daresbury)
     
  • ISIS, whose neutron and muon scattering capabilities enable matter to be analysed and examined down to atomic scale (location: Harwell Campus)
     
  • Central Laser Facility, delivering unique insights that span physics, chemistry and biology (location: Harwell Campus)
     
  • Versatile Electron Linear Accelerator (VELA), designed to boost development of advanced accelerator systems (location: Sci-Tech Daresbury)
     
  • RAL Space - vacuum test chambers, vibration facilities, satellite guidance/tracking equipment and other facilities used in leading-edge space research (location: Harwell Campus)
