Materials Science

Both the STFC ISIS and Diamond Synchrotron facilities are used to investigate the structure of materials in order to develop new materials which can result in new technologies. STFC e-Science provides support for the whole lifecycle of research on these facilities.

STFC Computational Science and Engineering Department also operate a series of Collaborative Computational Projects (CCP) to which e-Science also provides support which also investigate materials.
