Scientific achievements

The achievements of STFC e-Science come from direct technical computing achievements, but also from the achievements of the scientists who use the services provided, and the economic impact of both the computing and scientific results.

The main services provided by e-Science (e.g. the NGS, the Petabyte Data Store) are used by researchers in a wide range of disciplines. STFC e-Science also provides specialist services and development projects which focus on specific disciplines or research areas. The menu items on the left lead to examples of the scientific results from this broad range of disciplines.
