RIN Research Communications Group

RIN logo

The Research Information Network (RIN) was set up in 2005 for an initial period of three years by a consortium of UK sponsors: the four Higher Education funding bodies, the three National Libraries, and the seven Research Councils. This support has now been extended by a further three years, until the middle of 2011. The Research Communications Group (link opens in a new window) is a working group of RIN.

Our work in this area aims to promote a better understanding of the activities in the scholarly communications process.
