Machine Evaluation Workshop (MEW)

The Distributed Computing Group runs the UK's premier HPC event, the annual Machine Evaluation Workshop (link opens in a new window) (link opens in a new window). This Workshop is now established as a leading national event dedicated to distributed high performance scientific computing.

The principle objective is to encourage close contact between research communities from Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Materials programmes and the major vendors of workstations, software and peripherals.

The 23rd Machine Evaluation Workshop (link opens in a new window) (MEW23) will take place on Tuesday 27 and Wednesday 28 November 2012 at the Adelphi Hotel Liverpool (link opens in a new window). Registration is now open for the event via the online registration form (link opens in a new window). Registration is free for academics. If you are registering from a non-academic organisation then a small fee of £100 is charged. A full list of exhibitors and a programme for the technical presentations and breakout sessions will be added soon - please check back regularly for updates.
