Research services

The Science and Technology Facilities Research Council ensures that the UK scientific community has access to the large facilities that will enable it to perform high quality, world leading research through the provision of facilities at its own establishments, and through collaboration with partners.

The Council also represents the UK in international collaborations to provide access to facilities, plan future facilities strategy, regulate international collaboration, or to foster international collaboration in strategic areas of research.
