Inaugural Cryogenic Cluster Day

The Cryogenic Cluster Day, held on Wednesday 22 September 2010, provided a mix of seminar and exhibition and brought the national & international cryogenic community together.

Hosted by STFC at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL), it reflected the special cluster of skills concentrated in (but not confined to) the South East of England, unmatched anywhere else in the world, and recognised in the recent government commendation. The event was supplemented by the opportunity to make visits with a cryogenic focus, to the major science facilities on the RAL site.
