Harwell Oxford

As one of the UK's two National Science and Innovation Campuses, the 300 hectare Harwell Campus is already a vibrant community of scientists and technologists developing a wide range of innovative products and services.

Recognising that science and innovation are essential to economic success, this exciting 15 year project is building a sustainable, interactive community, with buildings and amenities designed to encourage collaboration.

STFC's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory is at the heart of Harwell Oxford. Its staff are helping campus tenants overcome technical challenges and obtain external funding to develop their innovations and reach higher technology readiness levels.

Harwell Oxford has excellent local, regional, national and international transport links. It is a public private partnership between STFC, the UK Atomic Energy Authority (link opens in a new window) and Goodman International (link opens in a new window).

STFC and the Harwell Oxford are partners in Science Vale UK (link opens in a new window), an initiative to promote South Oxfordshire as the ideal location for successful science and technology businesses.
