Group work experience project on robotics

One of STFC's main objectives is to inspire young peoples' interest in science and technology. At the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL), over 80 students per year participate in the one or two-week work experience placements available. Most participants come from local schools, and are engaged in the first year of their GCSEs.

RAL Space is keen to support this initiative and offers several placements within the Department each year including two, two week work experience team projects. Pervious projects have been on a range of subjects including Robtics and Climate Change.
