Space project management and product assurance

RAL Space has a dedicated Product Assurance Group to ensure that the work done by the department on space and ground-based instruments meets the strict quality standards demanded by customers such as ESA and NASA.

This is achieved by means of a departmental Quality Management System which has ISO9001:2000 certification, and covers the hardware and software elements of instrument study, design, manufacture, integration and testing.
