Solar monitoring - one day seminar
To be held at ISIC, Harwell Oxford on 18 May 2011
This one day seminar, co-hosted by STFC, ISIC and the British Interplanetary Society, will highlight the increasing risks that solar storms present to both space based and ground based infrastructure.
Experts in the field will describe the risks that we face, illustrate what monitoring systems are already in place and discuss the concepts available for increased future resilience against major solar events.
