Driving to Chilbolton

Travel directions - by road

• From the A34 (Hampshire) take the A303 West-bound for Andover
• Come off the A303 at the fourth junction (B3048 signposted to Wherwell)
• Follow the road until reaching a junction at which turn left onto the B3420
• Turn right at the next junction (signposted Chilbolton)
• Follow the road through Chilbolton passing the Abbott's Mitre pub on the left and village shop on the right
• Take the next left up Drove Road and follow until you reach a track
• Continue straight along the track and take the first right, which leads to the observatory
