Photographs of the Diamond Light Source Facility at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, linked to high resolution images
The Diamond light source, adjacent to the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, is the largest scientific facility to be built in the UK for over forty years. It is a third generation synchrotron radiation source, a state of the art scientific facility that is enabling scientists to investigate the structure of matter, such as biological tissues, polymers and catalysts, at the atomic and molecular level.
Diamond Light Source Ltd welcomes re-use of its material provided suitable acknowledgement is given. The images can be viewed on Diamond's Photo Gallery.
