Invisibility Cloaks (15 February 2008)

New materials have been designed which 'bend' light in the opposite direction to familiar materials such as water and glass. They not only have the potential to improve technology such as MRI scanners and mobile phones, but could also make objects invisible. Is this the first step to a real version of Harry Potter's invisibility cloak?
