Academic staff

The School is staffed by a Director, four lecturers and a number of tutors. Two guest lecturers are also invited to give presentations on complementary subjects to those covered by the main lecture material.

Staff members undertake to complete three years in post before handing over to a successor. Professor Mark Thomson from Cambridge University took over as Director of School in November 2009.

The Lecturers for 2012 are :

• Dr Chris White (Glasgow University) who will lecture on Quantum Field Theory
• Dr Peter Richardson (Durham University) who will lecture on Phenomenology
• Dr Chris Maxwell (Durham University) who will lecture on The Standard Model and Beyond
• Dr Francesco Hautmann (Oxford University) who will lecture on Introduction to QED and QCD
