3. UK HEP forum - "LHC first results and outlook" - September 2010
The UK HEP Forum will take place at The Cosener's House, in Abingdon, on Monday and Tuesday 20-21 September 2010.
Exceptionally, this year the forum will be at the end of the summer to discuss the first physics results obtained at the LHC. Talks will cover a broad range of measurements and the prospects for discoveries in the near future in the light of the first data. This should be a good occasion both for experimentalists and theorists to hold inter-project discussions, and for young physicists to familiarize themselves with the LHC's hottest topics.
The organization of the forum will be similar to previous years. Participation will be free of charge to UK attendees, and a train fare or equivalent can be met.
More details (link opens in a new window) are available from the website.
Please register using the form provided in the "Registration" webpage at your earliest convenience (availability is limited).
Stefania Ricciardi
On behalf of the organising committee.
