STFC's Youtube channel (link opens in a new window). The channel has also been re-designed to include the STFC logo and reflect STFC's brand.
The touring exhibition of 'Big Bang' (on the LHC) will open to the public at Glasgow Science Centre on the 15th March '08, just in time for the Easter holidays. Local particle physicists will have access to two STFC initiatives designed to add value to the exhibit. Firstly, a one day training course on public engagement, focussed on the Big Bang exhibit and how physicists might use it to engage with public and school audiences. Secondly, local groups can bid for up to £5,000 to fund engagement activities around the exhibit.
Future venues are:
- World Museum, Liverpool (28/06/08 - 22/09/08)
- At-Bristol (27/09/08 - 15/12/08)
- 5th venue to be confirmed (20/12/08 - 09/03/08)
