Three STFC-sponsored 'In Search of Giants' films, on particle physics and the LHC are now available for download from the Teacher's TV website. These are targeted at school children 14-16+ but are accessible to a wide range of audiences. The films include several reconstructions of historic experiments and explanations of particle physics that could be used as stand-alone clips:

• Fundamental building blocks of nature (link opens in a new window)
• Fundamental forces of nature (link opens in a new window)
• Quantum world and the hunt for the Higgs boson (link opens in a new window)

It is planned to break the films into 3-4 minute clips and upload them to Youtube.

Both sets of videos can be used (in whole or in part) by physicists and teachers for presentations, teaching, visual displays, etc.
