Business plan competition 2007/08

Helping to turn research outputs into business reality is just one of the ways STFC ensures that STFC funded research makes a difference. The Business Plan Competition helps entrepreneurial researchers from across the UK turn their ideas into reality.

Every good business starts with two things: a good idea and a robust business plan. You supply the idea, and we'll give you the skills, knowledge and support you need to develop a first-rate business plan - plus the opportunity to win funds to help the development of your business idea.

Participants, not just winners, of previous competitions have gone on to establish successful companies that have made significant impacts in a range of sectors.
