STFC-POST Postgraduate Placement Scheme 2012

Applications for the 2012 joint STFC-POST scheme are invited.

Aim

The Scheme provides an opportunity for a postgraduate to be seconded to the Parliamentary Office of Science and Technology (POST) to assist in providing objective briefing material for MPs and Peers for a three month period.

Who is eligible?

STFC funded PhD students who have completed their first year and will be studying in March 2012.

Timings

The exact timing of the secondment is open to negotiation, but is likely to take place in April – July or August – December 2012.
