Funding for all STFC quota research studentships allocated to departments from the 2007 quota studentship exercise onwards will be awarded in the form of training grants. STFC training grants will be governed by the core Training Grant Terms and Conditions that have been developed for use by all Councils that fund studentships through this mechanism.
