In the context of the national and international activity on accelerator science and technology, the Board should:
- Assist STFC in developing an overall accelerator science and technology strategy and on priorities for its accelerator science and technology programmes;
- Provide a regular overview of the existing STFC programme in accelerator science and technology;
- Consider possible new areas of activity, new collaborations and partnerships, giving advice on their strategic importance and the level of resources required to deliver them;
- Advise STFC on opportunities for knowledge transfer activities in accelerator science and technology;
- Consider and advise on training requirements to build capacity in key areas and training opportunities;
- Provide Reports to the STFC executive and Science Board.
