Ground-Based Facilities Review Open Meeting

The Ground-Based Facilities Review will be holding an "Open Meeting" on Thursday 9th July 2009 at The Royal Astronomical Society, London, from 10:00am - 12:30pm (Coffee available from 9:30am)

Agenda

  • 10.00am - Welcome and introduction to the GBFR Consultative Document and Questionnaire (Prof Michael Rowan-Robinson, chair GBFR Panel)

  • 10.30am - Discussion

  • 12.25pm - 12.30pm - Closing remarks by Prof Michael Rown Robinson

This is an opportunity for community members to hear about the Ground-Based Facilities Review process, and to air their views and concerns in a public forum.

The meeting is timed to coincide with the Near-Universe Advisory Panel open meeting that takes place in the same venue in the afternoon, so that members with overlapping interests can attend both sessions.

If you plan to attend, please notify Simon Haynes, so that attendance numbers can be confirmed with the Royal Astronomical Society.
