Prof Martin Barstow

Professor Barstow has recently been appointed Head of the College of Science and Engineering and pro-Vice Chancellor at Leicester University, having been Head of the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Leicester for the last 4 years.

He is currently a member of the Physics REF 2014 panel and has also been a member of a number of key science panels and committees, including the recent Wakeham Review panel.

Professor Barstow has had close links with STFC and their astronomy and space programmes over a number of years, and is highly respected within both communities, nationally and internationally.
