Sandwich Student Placement Scheme

A placement with STFC will give you the opportunity to use and develop the skills you have acquired at university whilst learning many new ones along the way. An industrial placement is carried out as part of a sandwich degree course and is usually for the duration of 12 months. You must be on a sandwich degree and be taking the industrial placement as a recognised sandwich year to be eligible.

Projects

Placements will either be based at STFC's Rutherford Appleton Laboratory (RAL) Oxfordshire, STFC's Daresbury Laboratory in Cheshire or STFC's Polaris House in Swindon.
