Professor Andrew Liddle

Professor Andrew Liddle has been Professor of Astrophysics at the University of Sussex since 2000, and currently chairs STFC's Education, Training and Careers Committee which is responsible for the Council's studentship and fellowship programmes.

He is a theoretical cosmologist, seeking to understand the fundamental nature of our Universe through exploitation of astrophysical observations. He is the author of nearly two hundred research papers and four books, and a member of the Planck Satellite collaboration and the Dark Energy Survey team.'
