We produce many resources and publications specifically for the educational sector:

• Details of our other education resources: guides, publications, worksheets, useful links (link opens in a new window)
• Brilliance of X-rays - Information on the synchrotron source at Daresbury Laboratory (published 1996)
• D-Files - Based loosely on the X-files TV series, the D-Files set interesting and relevant student investigations and activities into real contexts; designed for KS3 and 4, with Notes for Teachers
• Our new ultraviolet Sun - Instruments on the SOHO satellite look at the UV emissions of the Sun - some of the exciting discoveries made at RAL are presented and explained (published 2001)
• Woman exposed - Probing protein structure using the SRS (which closed in 2008) 
• Unzipping DNA poster (PDF - 2466kB - link opens in a new window) (pdf file, 2.4MB) - the mysteries of DNA revealed (published 2002)
